The best Pinterest strategy for more visitors

Pinterest is a good way for many people to get more visitors, but then you have to know how to use it. In 2020, a lot has changed on Pinterest and that is why you need to use a new strategy. Pinterest can send a lot of visitors to your website. But how then? Maybe you’ve been using Pinterest for a while, but you still don’t really know what the best Pinterest strategy is .. Well I can only say one thing about that:

The best Pinterest strategy

Create more new pins of high quality

No, I am not kidding! I am really serious. I see so many Pinterest users re-pin the same pins of themselves to a lot of different group boards and that is unfortunately no longer the way to get visitors to your blog in 2020.

It is important to create new blog posts, new pages, new products, but especially new pins for your new and existing blog posts. Maybe you have a blog post that is already doing very well, but for which you have not made new pins for a while.

Pin for later

For example, I create my pins with Photoshop, which I think is a very nice way. I made a template for my pins in advance and so I can create new pins for my existing blog posts in a few minutes.

And then I have to say. No, not so long ago, I didn’t do this strategy at all. I pinned a lot of the same pins because I simply didn’t know about this. Now I try to make at least 6 pins for each blog post, which I then spread over the rest of the year. In addition, I pin these pins to a maximum of ten boards: personal and group boards.

To schedule these pins, I use Tailwind. This is a very handy tool to schedule your pins for the rest of the week, month or even year. I always schedule my pins, but especially when I know I am going on a holiday or when I am extra busy.

With the advice above, you can definitely boost your traffic via Pinterest. Pinterest wants to give their users new and good pins and that is only possible if content creators make these pins. That is why you will get more visitors if you actually do this.

Are you convinced of Tailwind? Then sign up for your free trial of 100 pins. You can also get 15$ off with this link on your Plus plan!

Do you also make new pins of high quality? Or are you going to use this best Pinterest strategy?

These are my personal results, but Tailwind also publishes the Typical Results of Tailwind Members every year, so you can see exactly what the average growth rate look like for their members.
