Installing Divi
I use the Divi WordPress Theme for a while now and wow.. It is really amazing. I have made the design you see now with Divi and I am totally in love with it.
Resumed, I have chosen Divi for three different reasons:
Soon I will write an article about why exactly I have chosen for Divi and I will place a link here as soon as it is published. You can also sign up for my newsletter to stay updated of this article.

Don’t you have a clue what Divi is? I will explain that briefly. It is a drag and drop builder that makes it easy to put together your own design.
Even if you don’t know anything about website design, it is very easy to assemble your website!
Not too long ago I used Divi to completely rebuild The Blog Boss, the blog you are currently on. In addition, I will soon be converting my other two websites so that they all have a nice design. I have used many other WordPress themes in the past, but I have never been so happy with a WordPress theme such as Divi.
But okay.. How do you install Divi? I will tell you that in this post!
How do you start? + Installing Divi on your WordPress website
First of all, go to the website of Elegant Themes.
Click on “Join to Download” in the top navigation bar and there you can choose which plan you want. I chose the lifetime access myself because I simply didn’t want to pay again every year. In addition, after three years you have already passed the costs of lifetime access. However, if you are not sure whether you want to use Divi forever, then you can, of course, opt-in for the annual access!
But okay.. Divi costs money. If you really want to get further with your blog, then I definitely recommend looking at things you can invest in. It is just so important to do this and investing in different things has helped me to move forward with my blog. For example, Divi has already helped me a lot when it comes to branding, but also visitor numbers. But if I need to take another example, then Tailwind really helped me and it actually skyrocketed my blog traffic.

A website just has to look good to keep visitors on your website. It is the first impression you make. Imagine, you come to a website that doesn’t look attractive at all. The blog posts are great, but you constantly get popups, the website consists of a lot of bugs and things are just very difficult to find. Well, I would already have clicked away, because I simply don’t have the time.
And yes. If you choose the annual subscription, then Divi will cost you around € 6.50 a month .. In other words, one Starbucks less every month, haha!
When you have purchased your account, log in and click on the pink download button to download the Divi theme.
When you have downloaded the file, go to your WordPress dashboard and then to appearance > themes.
Click on themes and then on add new.
After that, click on upload theme.
When you have clicked on upload theme, you get an option to upload the Divi WordPress theme as a .zip file. This is the file that you downloaded earlier. Upload this file and you’re done! Divi is installed!
If it doesn’t work, please leave a message below or contact the Elegant Themes support. I have contacted them a number of times and they always respond super fast!
