I was shocked when I read this news. But it is still true, the Instagram grid is going to change. All those beautiful feeds and creations are going to disappear because Instagram thought it was a good idea to change the Instagram grid. When this will change, that is not that clear yet. The only thing I can say is that a lot is going to change.
The Instagram grid
So nice isn’t it? That algorithm of Instagram. Suddenly you see posts from like three or four days ago. You can barely see recent posts anymore and the likes on my pictures have reduced badly. Still, Instagram doesn’t listen to its users, but that needs to have a good reason.
Lately, I am super busy to improve my feed. I have spent a lot of time and work on this and it looks pretty nice now. I also spend a lot of time on Instagram, because I notice that this is a big part of my blog as well. Also, Instagram is a very popular social media platform so I can’t really ignore this social media platform. Now, I am posting every single day on Instagram. I have to spend a lot of time to this until I heard that the grid was going to change. We now have a grid of 3×3. A beautiful size and a size everyone adapted his or her feed to this size. Instagram came with the perfect idea to change the grid to 4×4. When they are going to do this, I have no idea, but I am not very happy about this.

Secretly I hope that Instagram comes with an option to have a 4×4 feed or a 3×3 feed. This sounds very unlikely to me. The only disadvantage is that with the 4×4 feed, I have the opportunity to change my feed so I can have two white pictures and two colored pictures. I always have the problem that I don’t have enough white pictures.
